Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the district sales strategy for the Virginia–Tennessee district (Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee) to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps and create plans to address them; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; ensure accountability.
- Ensure business practices comply with Company policies and procedures; uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Serve as a communications liaison and focal point for sharing best practices across the district.
- Assess and manage organizational change impacts.
- Manage allocated operating budgets; cascade direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight travel).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (varies by skills, experience, and location).
