Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within a geographic area.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze and evaluate team performance, sales figures, and territory data; track/reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports for high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure Company business is conducted in compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices”; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster solution-oriented vision and balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience preferred).
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (exact compensation may vary).
