District Manager, Pain - St. Louis

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute district sales strategy to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives.
- Develop and enhance district sales performance across the St. Louis district (Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa).
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers; respond to needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports for accountability, performance, and professional development.
- Ensure business practices comply with company policies; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices district-wide; serve as liaison with home office to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess change management needs and apply tools to manage change impacts.
- Create a high-performing, development-focused team environment; exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior District Manager experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales (medical devices/other healthcare products preferred).
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
