District Manager, Pain - Southeast

Key Responsibilities:
- The Southeast district includes key markets in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs professionally; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “best practices” across the district; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team culture focused on professional development and accountability; drive immediate results with a long-term strategic view.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior District Manager experience in pharma/healthcare sales (medical devices or other healthcare products preferred).
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speak, comprehend, read, write).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills/experience/location).
