Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy through the team.
- Develop and maintain solid customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges; create plans to address performance gaps; support disciplinary actions with Sales Director and HR.
- Analyze team and territory performance (sales figures and territory data); track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; foster open communication; share best practices across the district; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impacts.
- Create a high-performing team environment emphasizing professional development and accountability; eliminate barriers and drive immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Preferred qualification:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience and/or medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
