District Manager, Pain - Seattle

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps and create plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports; support professional development and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director/direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; follow direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior district manager experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales (medical devices or other healthcare products preferred).
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
