District Manager, Pain - Seattle

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the district sales strategy to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives.
- Manage and grow district sales performance; implement corporate sales/marketing direction in the geographic area.
- Build and maintain relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance gaps early; create plans to address deficiencies; support disciplinary actions with Sales Director and HR.
- Analyze team and territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to drive performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree + 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography; valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred:
- Prior District Manager experience and/or medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
