District Manager, Pain - San Francisco

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; support disciplinary actions with Sales Director and HR.
- Analyze team and territory performance (sales figures and data); track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/tools/systems).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; drive accountability and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison to home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply change management tools as needed.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior District Manager experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Required:
- Travel 60β70% (overnight included); must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
