District Manager, Pain - Phoenix

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Phoenix district (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming) and develop/enhance/increase district sales performance to meet annual sales and market share objectives.
- Execute corporate sales/marketing direction; implement the district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales reps; identify performance issues and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and reps; share best practices; serve as liaison to home office/district for issue identification and resolution.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team; eliminate barriers; drive immediate results with long-term strategy.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction within sales teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior District Manager experience in pharma/healthcare sales preferred; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience preferred.
- Travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Benefits/Compensation (if applicable): Salary range $148,000β$222,000.
