Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and support professional development.
- Conduct business in compliance with company policies and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; create open communication; share best practices across the district; serve as liaison between home office and district.
- Assess and apply change management tools to manage change impact.
- Build a high-performing, accountable team environment; foster solution-oriented vision and drive immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management (District Manager) experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience preferred.
- Travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Salary Range (as stated): $148,000 - $222,000.
