Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to ensure accountability, maximize performance, and support professional development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaise with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing, development-focused environment; manage fiscal control of allocated operating budgets.
- Take direction from Regional Director and cascade within sales teams; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience (or medical devices/other healthcare products sales) preferred.
- Travel 60–70% (overnight included); must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
