District Manager, Pain - Ohio Valley

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges; create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; facilitate “Best Practices” sharing; serve as liaison to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage organizational change by applying appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster solution-oriented vision and drive immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful District Manager experience (pharma preferred), medical devices, or other healthcare products sales experience (preferred).
- Travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a Company leased vehicle or approved rental.
- Proficient in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
