Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create improvement plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and territory/sales data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with company policies; uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director/direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply change management tools to ensure successful implementation.
- Create a high-performing environment and manage allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: District Manager experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare (medical devices/other healthcare products).
- Travel 60–70% (overnight required); must reside in district geography.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; ability to drive company leased/authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehending).

Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000.
