Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team and territory/sales performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; ensure accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices” across the district; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior District Manager experience in healthcare/pharma (medical devices or other healthcare products) preferred.
- 60–70% travel (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing) required.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (varies by skills, experience, location).
