Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges; create plans to close performance gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team/sales performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote best practices across the district; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster a solution-oriented winning vision and drive immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade and follow direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000.
