District Manager, Pain - Mid-Atlantic

Key Responsibilities:
- The Mid-Atlantic district includes key markets in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography; implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid, timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools to manage change impact.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; follow Regional Director marketing/standards guidance and cascade to reps.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (education/experience combination considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Preferred Qualification:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
