District Manager, Pain - Mid-Atlantic

Key Responsibilities:
- Mid-Atlantic district includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond timely; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular, candid, timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to drive high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison between home office and district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; eliminate barriers; drive immediate results with long-term strategy.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience (medical devices/other healthcare products sales preferred).
- Travel 60β70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
