District Manager, Pain - Mid-Atlantic

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow Mid-Atlantic district sales in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia; develop and execute district sales strategy to meet sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales performance using territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports; drive accountability, performance, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and the team; share best practices across the district; liaison with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on long-term strategy and immediate results; eliminate barriers.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience and/or medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills/experience/location).
