Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the Houston district sales strategy for key markets in Texas and Louisiana; develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet annual sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical execution, proper use of funds, systems, and tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to drive high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison between home office and district to resolve issues.
- Apply change management tools as needed.
- Maintain fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; ensure guidance from Regional Director is cascaded to reps.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Salary Range:
- $148,000 - $222,000.
