Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Houston district (key markets in Texas and Louisiana) to develop/enhance district sales performance and execute district sales strategy to meet/exceed sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps and create action plans; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales-force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactics, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports; support professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and team; share best practices; liaise with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team environment and manage allocated operating budgets.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent combinations considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: successful District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 – $222,000.
