District Manager, Pain - Florida

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the district sales strategy for Florida to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives.
- Develop and increase district sales performance; ensure corporate sales/marketing direction is executed in the geography.
- Build and maintain relationships with key executives/decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early; create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze sales/team performance and territory data; track/reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; uphold ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; act as liaison with home office to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and manage change impact.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (or combination of experience/education).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License; acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
