Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction through the team.
- Develop and maintain solid customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales figures/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; compile/exchange “Best Practices” across the district; act as liaison to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; eliminate barriers; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
