Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; respond timely to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular, candid feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and territory/sales performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach direct reports to drive performance and accountability; counsel and support professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; act as liaison with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply organizational change management tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team environment; eliminate barriers and drive immediate results with a strategic view of the business.
- Exercise fiscal control over allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Required Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
