Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team/sales performance and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach, counsel, and mentor direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure business is conducted in compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; liaise with home office to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and manage change impact to ensure successful implementation.
- Create a high-performing team environment focused on professional development, accountability, and achieving immediate results with long-term strategy.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade and ensure compliance with Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience (medical devices or other healthcare products sales preferred).
- Travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
