Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early; create plans to address deficiencies; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to drive high performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; liaise with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster a solution-oriented winning vision.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
