Responsibilities:
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets, maximizing market/segment/team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results.
- Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution; set tone and pace for business processes.
- Lead teams with a market/franchise business point of view by mastering product and disease-state information, relevant market dynamics, and the Managed Care landscape.
- Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and team performance; hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations.
- Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in the business planning process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred (or relevant equivalent industry experience).
- Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
- Proven District Manager leadership: in good standing with safety and compliance standards; minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales management experience (external management experience may be considered); meeting performance expectations; demonstrates leadership attributes.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments/therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability to provide candid, effective feedback; efficiently manage performance; develop talent for promotional opportunities.
- Ability to create a winning culture and engage the full team; collaborate and influence without authority.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to travel to cover territory and attend overnight training events/sales meetings.
- Ability to drive a personal auto or company vehicle (or powered material handling equipment).
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain entry into facilities in assigned territory (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses).
