Responsibilities:
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve agreed-upon targets and maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results.
- Create, implement, and communicate a District Sales Plan and monitor progress.
- Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution; set tone and pace for business process and organization.
- Lead teams and in-field meetings with a market and franchise/business point of view, including mastery of product and disease state information and relevant market dynamics (including Managed Care).
- Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members; hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations.
- Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in the business planning process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred; or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
- Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance.
- Proven District Manager leadership: in good standing with safety and compliance standards; minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience; meeting performance expectations; demonstrates Leadership Attributes.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making.
- Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability to give candid feedback, manage performance, and develop talent.
- Ability to create a culture of winning and engage the full team; collaborate and influence without authority.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Ability to travel to cover territory and attend overnight training and sales meetings.
- Drive personal auto/company car or truck, or a powered material handling equipment.
- Satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain facility entry (e.g., background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization, fingerprinting, state/city licenses); must be in good standing/eligible.
