Role Summary

The District Business Manager (Cardiovascular) leads and develops a field-based team of TASs to drive adoption of BMS Cardiovascular portfolio, manage account planning, and champion the use of digital capabilities. The role focuses on coaching, strategic planning, and ensuring ongoing skill development to meet sales targets within the Carolinas region.

Responsibilities

  • Focused in-role coaching and development of TASs, including conducting ride-alongs and overseeing learning journeys to improve core skills and behavior.
  • Champion adoption of new capabilities (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization) and coach TASs on leveraging insights for call planning and preparation.
  • Execute strategic planning activities such as promo program planning, budget planning, and tumor prioritization at the HCP level; engage insights to prioritize accounts and develop key account strategies; lead district financial and program planning.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct of BMS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or related field.
  • Prior experience as a District Business Manager in pharmaceutical sales or equivalent leadership of high-performing teams is strongly preferred.
  • Pharma experience with understanding of reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environment preferred.
  • Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet/exceed goals; proven ability to select, develop, and retain talent.
  • Experience requiring analytical skills, selling skills, business acumen, and knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain.
