Role Summary

The District Business Manager (Cardiovascular) leads and coaches a team of approximately 6–10 TASs to drive adoption of the cardiovascular portfolio, generate demand, and achieve sales targets within a field-based, customer-centered model. The DBM aligns to accounts, oversees strategic planning and development of TASs, and champions new digital capabilities and tools to enhance engagement with Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

  • Focused in-role coaching and development of TASs, including ride-alongs with key HCPs and ongoing improvement of core skills (scientific agility, patient mindset, digital agility, analytical mindset).
  • Champion adoption of new capabilities and tools (e.g., CE^3 analytics, content personalization), coach TASs on call planning and preparation using CE^3 insights, and lead field-team collaboration on change leadership.
  • Execute strategic planning activities (promo program planning, budget planning, HCP-level prioritization) and lead district-level financial and program planning.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience.
  • Preferred: Prior experience as a District Business Manager in pharmaceutical sales or leading high-performing teams; strong understanding of reimbursement, access, and distribution environments; proven leadership and talent development capabilities; analytical skills and pharma value-chain knowledge.
  • Note: Candidates must meet driver requirements (age, valid license, acceptable driving risk) due to company-provided vehicle.
