Associate Director Trade and Distribution Strategy

Key Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead tactical design planning and develop scalable distribution strategies for short- and long-term needs, considering financial impact and patient/customer experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create distribution/channel strategy and maximize patient access and corporate goals.
- Partner with Trade and Distribution account team and functional business partners to assess distribution capabilities, market expertise, and differentiation.
- Build business cases and recommendations on channel design (limited vs. open networks) and strategic alliances (e.g., 3PLs, specialty pharmacy, wholesalers, specialty distributors, channel data aggregators).
- Evolve current distribution programs for new launches, risk mitigation, market/competitive/regulatory changes.
- Maintain deep understanding of the distribution channel (pharmacy/hospital capabilities and competitive marketplace).
- Ensure integrity and compliance with company policies.

Knowledge and Skills (Requirements/Preferences):
- Knowledge of drug distribution channels, including retail and digital pharmacy.
- Track record meeting/exceeding objectives; ability to lead strategic initiatives.
- Experience with distribution networks, new product launches, trade processes, and pharmaceutical supply chain.
- Understanding of US commercial and government healthcare/reimbursement environment (product/fund flow, patient support, government programs).
- Excellent communication; ability to influence cross-functionally in a matrix.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical skills and trade channel data knowledge.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years in Commercial Market Access and/or Retail Trade & Distribution (specialty/biotech).
- Experience with GPOs and IDN classes of trade.

Location/Travel:
- HQ or Hybrid (3 days/week in HQ). Travel up to 20%.

Compensation/Benefits:
- $148,000–$222,000 base pay; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity. Total Rewards include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, educational assistance, commuting subsidy, 401(k), and more.
