Director of Supply Chain Strategy (Jacksonville, Florida)
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead the Vision Supply Chain annual strategy cycle by defining the required future-state supply chain, strategic choices, priorities, multiyear roadmaps, and executive business reviews.
- Develop the integrated end-to-end supply chain strategy across Vision Care, Surgical Vision, and Deliver, including roadmap and sequencing.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to shape capital investment strategy, headcount planning, and resource prioritization aligned to strategic priorities.
- Lead portfolio prioritization and decision governance across supply chain initiatives, framing key issues, options, and tradeoffs.
- Define the capability roadmap to deliver the strategy (organization design, workforce planning, process maturity, digital/data enablement, capability gaps).
- Lead strategic communications, KPI and performance reviews, and governance processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain Strategy team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Progressive supply chain experience in strategy, network design, long-range/capital planning, portfolio prioritization, or related roles.
- Strong people leadership experience in matrixed environments.
- Preferred: experience building structured business cases, scenario analyses, financial tradeoff models, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Required: ability to translate business strategy into roadmaps and execution plans.
- Strong business and financial acumen; experience supporting investment decisions and executive governance.
- Strong communication/influence across Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Deliver, Procurement, IT, HR, and business leadership.
- May require up to 20% domestic and international travel.
