Role: Lead the development and execution of Lundbeck's U.S. patient engagement strategy, focusing on building partnerships with patient advocacy organizations and integrating patient insights into business decisions. Responsibilities: oversee the Patient Advocacy Liaison function, set engagement priorities, manage relationships with advocacy groups, synthesize patient insights for cross-functional use, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and other teams to align patient-centric initiatives and measure program effectiveness through KPIs and ROI metrics. Lead conference and event planning related to patient advocacy, and oversee funding and partnership investments. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years in patient advocacy, external affairs, or related healthcare sectors; prior leadership experience; proven ability to develop strategic relationships and execute advocacy strategies; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; understanding of healthcare compliance. Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD), experience in neuroscience or rare diseases, 3+ years in leadership roles, established network within patient advocacy community, budget management skills. Work setup: domestic travel up to 35-40%, including nights and weekends; potential international travel. Compensation: $240,000-$260,000 base, plus 25% bonus and long-term incentives.
