Key Responsibilities:
- Co-lead integrated communications strategies across portfolio brands, late-stage pipeline assets, and launches aligned to business priorities using audience insights and data analytics.
- Own asset-level communications integration across media, digital, internal, and stakeholder channels; manage approval and launch communication plans.
- Translate complex scientific/business narratives into clear, compelling storytelling for senior leaders.
- Drive end-to-end execution of communications plans, including budget management, with measurable impact and continuous optimization.
- Lead development of high-quality multi-channel content (earned media, social, executive platforms, internal); apply digital-first and AI-enabled approaches.
- Use data, social listening, and AI-driven insights to refine messaging and anticipate risks.
- Build external voice via spokesperson development and executive visibility (e.g., LinkedIn, speaking, media).
- Partner with advocacy groups/media for disease education and unbranded engagement; ensure pull-through of above-brand/reputational campaigns.
- Lead internal communications to engage employees, support change management, and reinforce product/patient priorities.
- Lead and influence across a matrix (US/Global Comms, Government Affairs, Commercial, medical, agencies); oversee agency and cross-functional teams.
- Plan and respond to issues for assigned assets; monitor external environment for emerging trends/risks; ensure compliance with policies/regulatory/ethical standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Communications, Public Health, or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least 3 of: strategic comms planning/execution; disease awareness/branded campaign development; leadership/influencing senior stakeholders; stakeholder engagement in matrix environments; multi-channel content creation; issues/crisis communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterโs degree.
- 8+ years communications (internal/external), incl. pharma/biotech; specialty/oncology experience preferred.
- Experience integrating digital tools, data analytics, and/or AI into comms planning.
- Strong project management; understanding of evolving media/social/influencer ecosystems; ability to influence without authority; advise senior leaders on media engagements/announcements; knowledge of healthcare policy/stakeholders.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication; strong judgment and proactive mindset.
