Director, Trademark and Copyright Attorney

Role: In-house Trademark Attorney supporting global pharmaceutical product and corporate brand portfolios, focusing on brand protection within a regulated environment. Responsibilities: manage worldwide trademark prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and clearance; supervise outside counsel; advise internal teams on brand strategy, usage, and naming conventions; draft and negotiate licensing and coexistence agreements; handle enforcement actions including domain disputes and counterfeiting mitigation; coordinate with regulatory and security teams. Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school, active state bar membership, over 5 years of trademark law experience, with industry familiarity preferred; expertise in prosecution, enforcement, and international filing strategies; strong drafting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. High-Value: pharmaceutical/trademark law, global portfolio management, enforcement, FDA and international regulatory considerations, digital and online brand protection, experience with counterfeit mitigation and domain disputes.
