Role Summary
Director, Supply Chain. Lead the site’s supply chain operations and drive end-to-end planning, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure optimal service levels and execution aligned with global supply chain strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Site Supply Chain Team.
- Identify, recruit, develop and retain qualified Supply Chain professionals to provide high-level service to the site. Implement managerial practices to ensure the team’s high performance, modeling Teva's values and leadership framework.
- Serve as an influential member of the site leadership team, promote cross-site initiatives, teamwork and collaboration across site functions; share site perspective and lessons learned to contribute to a best-in-class Supply Chain globally.
- Own the Site S&OP Process and support Global S&OP at the site level; analyze net demand variations and capacity constraints by technology, discuss outcomes with stakeholders, define recovery plans.
- Own the Site MPS per Market Demand; integrate market demand, production, quality capabilities and cost to develop and monitor the site MPS for optimal service level.
- Own the MRP/MRB Process; plan raw materials to meet MPS needs and manage inventory; communicate needs to Procurement/vendors.
- Plan and coordinate site launches, product changes and material changes based on priorities.
- Ensure on-schedule delivery to customers through the commitment process; manage intercompany orders, exceptions, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee warehousing and logistics of incoming goods, WIP and finished products; manage interfaces with Transport and Warehouse units or services.
- Responsible for site Master Data Management and accuracy of planning/execution information systems.
- Maintain compliance with training requirements and company policies; ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, science-related field or similar; Master’s Degree and/or CPIM/CSCP certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years in operations and global supply chain processes in the pharmaceutical industry; at least 5 years managing teams.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with Opex/lean tools and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycle including launch and tech transfer.
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills; experience managing cross-functional teams in a plant environment.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, SAP, MES, MS Office and other relevant tools.
- Strong organization, time and project management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify risks, think strategically, and communicate/negotiates effectively; able to build consensus.
- Strong confidentiality, integrity and discretion; excellent verbal and written skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, science-related field or similar; Master’s Degree and/or CPIM/CSCP certification is an advantage.
