Director, Supplier Management, Operations & Portfolio Management

Role: Lead supplier management for drug substance within Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing, overseeing global CMO network and strategic sourcing activities. Responsibilities: manage CMO relationships, drive lifecycle management programs, support manufacturing, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and capacity planning; coordinate cross-functional projects with internal teams and external vendors; develop contracts, monitor performance, and identify cost savings. Requirements: B.Sc./M.Sc. in scientific field; 15+ years in pharmaceutical sourcing or supply chain; experience with domestic/international CRDMOs; knowledge of small molecule drug development, cGMP, regulatory, QA, and commercial manufacturing; strong negotiation and project management skills. Preferred: experience with inventory management systems, commercial manufacturing, and supply agreements. Work setup: based in Redwood City, CA; salary range $211,000–$264,000; full-time onsite role.
