About The Role
- Director of Strategic Account Management aligned to Northwest/Southwest major oncology accounts (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, North New Mexico), with possible broader national responsibilities.

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts.
- Identify key GPO stakeholders across functions/management levels (internal and external).
- Lead cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts (as applicable/approved), providing guidance on company-wide and franchise opportunities.
- Gather and demonstrate understanding of integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, market trends, competition, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies/processes.
- Assess key regional/national oncology GPO clients; identify new organizations that may impact Takeda and build relationships with leadership.
- Position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current and future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Coordinate with internal matrix partners to deliver priorities.
- Build long-term relationships with population-based healthcare decision makers.
- Create strategy and plans for product/portfolio growth for key strategic accounts.
- Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources.
- Maintain fluency of the Takeda Oncology portfolio.
- Identify partnership opportunities; drive collaboration with matrix partners across engagement lifecycle.
- Mentor individuals developing into Access Account Management.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management/Marketing (or related) + 10+ years industry experience.
- 2+ years oncology network accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts with in-office and medically integrated dispensing.
- 2+ years oncology field sales leader experience in a matrix team environment.
- 3+ years oncology account management knowledge of marketplace, access influencers, and community oncology.
- Strong customer orientation, networking, and account management; value/access B2B experience desired.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate trends/channel dynamics into access programs.

Travel Expectations
- 70% travel.
