Director of Strategic Account Management (Remote)
Responsibilities / How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts based on commercial goals.
- Identify GPO contacts/stakeholders across functions and management levels.
- Lead approved cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts; provide guidance on company-wide and franchise opportunities.
- Proactively gather and apply insight into integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, marketplace trends, competitive strategies, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies.
- Assess key regional/national oncology GPO clients; identify new customers/organizations with impact; build relationships with leadership.
- Position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current and future portfolio initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Work with internal matrix partners to deliver company initiatives.
- Build long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.
- Develop strategy and plans for product/portfolio growth of key strategic accounts.
- Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources.
- Maintain in-depth fluency of the Takeda Oncology portfolio.
- Identify partnership opportunities and drive collaboration across engagement lifecycle.
- Mentor individuals developing into Access Account Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Business/Management/Marketing or related) with 10+ years industry experience.
- 2+ years with responsibility for Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts with in-office and medically integrated dispensing.
- 2+ years prior experience as an Oncology Field Sales leader in a matrix team environment.
- 3+ years oncology account management knowledge (marketplace, access influencers, community oncology).
- Strong customer orientation, account management expertise, networking; B2B access/value experience desired.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate trends/channel dynamics into access programs.
Travel
- 70% travel.
