About the Role
This Director of Strategic Account Management role is regionally aligned to the Northwest/Southwest Region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, North New Mexico) major oncology accounts, with not limited to regional responsibilities due to the national reach of accounts.

How you will contribute
- Develop and execute account-level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts based on Takeda’s commercial goals.
- Identify contacts and understand key GPO stakeholders across internal/external functions and management levels.
- Lead cross-functional partner activities within targeted accounts (as applicable and approved), providing guidance on company-wide and franchise opportunities.
- Proactively gather and apply insights into integrated customer accounts, business models, financial dynamics, marketplace trends, competitive strategies, healthcare policy, and Takeda strategies/processes.
- Assess assigned regional/national oncology GPO clients; identify new customers/organizations and build relationships with leadership.
- Position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner for current and future portfolio initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Work with internal matrix partners to deliver company initiatives.
- Identify key business leaders; build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare population-based decision makers.
- Develop strategy and plans for product/portfolio growth of key strategic accounts.
- Streamline engagements, identify opportunities, and maximize resources.
- Build credibility through in-depth understanding of accounts and external environment/industry.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships.
- Drive collaboration with matrix partners throughout engagement lifecycle.
- Maintain full fluency of Takeda Oncology portfolio.
- Mentor individuals developing into Access Account Management.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management/Marketing or related field; 10+ years industry experience.
- 2+ years experience with Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts with in-office and medically integrated dispensing.
- 2+ years prior experience as an Oncology Field Sales leader; proven matrix-team environment success.
- 3+ years focused account management knowledge of oncology marketplace/access influencers/community oncology driving value, access, and profitability.
- Strong customer orientation, account management expertise, resourcefulness, and networking skills; value and access B2B experience desired.
- Ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams; identify trends/channel dynamics to translate to access programs.

Travel Expectations
- 70% travel.
