Role: Lead state policy and government relations efforts for Pfizer in Iowa, Minnesota, and other specified states, focusing on shaping policy strategies and influencing legislative and regulatory environments. Responsibilities: develop and implement coordinated state policy positions, analyze legislative impacts, create policy materials, and forecast policy implications; monitor legislation and regulations; craft lobbying strategies; engage with policymakers, trade associations, and external stakeholders; oversee grassroots and PAC activities; and collaborate across internal functions to align enterprise policy objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred); 8+ years in state healthcare policy or government relations; strong legislative analysis skills; excellent communication abilities; and experience managing multiple issues across jurisdictions. Preferred: direct engagement with policymakers, policy strategy development, and multi-issue advocacy experience. High-Value: focus on healthcare policy, legislative and regulatory analysis, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy within the biopharma landscape. Work setup: Remote in Iowa or Minnesota; travel approximately 50%.
