Role: Director, Specialty & Emerging Pharmacy Channels (Field Based, National)
Responsibilities:
- Own commercial field relationships with specialty pharmacy (SP) partners; drive pull-through, patient access performance, and contractual compliance.
- Execute SP performance scorecards (e.g., time-to-fill, dispense rates, REMS compliance, hub handoff quality, patient persistence, data reporting timeliness) and deploy corrective actions.
- Lead SP clinical pharmacist engagement in oncology/specialty therapeutic areas (product knowledge, support tools, patient access resources).
- For REMS-governed and LDD products: lead SP REMS compliance monitoring, certified network management, and patient enrollment support.
- Own enterprise engagement strategy for emerging digital pharmacy entrants; build manufacturer engagement frameworks where no playbook exists; define commercial posture and monitor GTN/pricing implications.
- Monitor product inclusion on cash-pay/transparent-pricing digital platforms; assess pricing transparency impact on WAC strategy/GTN accruals; escalate anomalies.
- Define and execute channel conflict governance for emerging digital pharmacy dispensing vs. SP exclusivity.
- Monitor emerging digital pharmacy entrants (e.g., employer-sponsored programs, telehealth-integrated dispensing) and maintain enterprise intelligence.
- Build pull-through dashboards integrating SP dispense data, hub referrals, REMS reporting, and digital transactions; coordinate SP workflow integration and co-pay/adherence programming with Brand Hub and Patient Services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical commercial experience.
- 5+ years specialty pharmacy channel management or oncology trade account management.
- Director/Senior Manager-level SP account management experience.
- Oncology/specialty therapeutic area account management experience, including buy-and-bill and clinical pharmacist engagement.
Preferred:
- Experience engaging non-traditional/emerging channels.
- SP data/channel analytics proficiency; translate insights into action plans.
- Strong written/verbal communication to senior stakeholders.
- Prior Director-level specialty pharmacy/oncology channel experience.
- Direct experience engaging emerging digital pharmacy platforms.
- PharmD or clinical pharmacy background.
- Co-pay/affordability program and cash-pay digital co-pay bypass risk monitoring.
- Experience onboarding SP networks and pull-through for new launches (incl. LDD).
