Role Responsibilities
- Define and maintain a technical roadmap aligned with Pfizer Digital standards and enterprise architecture.
- Ensure engineering decisions support scalability, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business objectives into actionable technical plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of full-stack, cloud, and UI engineers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to meet delivery timelines.
- Lead design and implementation of solutions meeting customer/product owner expectations.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Integrate solutions into existing workflows for seamless user experience.
- Establish standards for code quality, testing, and validation.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability/efficiency.
- Partner with QA to validate against business and technical requirements.
- Serve as primary technical liaison to business stakeholders and communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Prepare teams for demos, rollouts, and adoption reviews.
- Develop/maintain design documentation; create reusable templates and reference architectures.
- Assess/manage vendor, cloud provider, and partner relationships; lead technical due diligence and integration planning for third-party AI solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field + 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep organization-wide technical leadership.
- Experience designing/deploying AI solutions in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Cloud expertise (Azure/AWS/GCP), microservices, APIs, and data engineering.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), MLOps, and model lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

- Salary range: $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% and participation in long-term incentive plan; benefits include 401(k), paid time off, caregiver/parental leave, and health coverage.
