Role: Lead strategic communications for U.S. Human Health manufacturing sites, supporting operational excellence, safety, quality, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: manage a team of four site communicators, develop and execute tailored communication strategies across multiple sites, handle sensitive issues, support change management, and coordinate external media and community relations. Lead crisis and issues management, ensure compliance with global and local regulations, and measure communication effectiveness through KPIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, EHS, and Legal, and align global strategies with regional needs. Develop content for diverse audiences, lead senior visits, manage external vendors, and represent manufacturing in enterprise communications. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Communications, Public Relations, or related field; at least 8 years of experience in pharma, healthcare, med tech, or regulated industries, with international or multi-site support experience. Strong background in issues and crisis management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder counseling. Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments is preferred. Skills: Change management, content development, media relations, crisis communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership. High-value specifics: U.S. manufacturing sites in Pharma/Biotech, regulated environment, focus on operational communication, and global/regional coordination. Work setup: hybrid with 25-30% travel across U.S. sites.
