Responsibilities:
- Shape the architecture and technology strategy for key ELT-level AI programs, translating ELT ambitions into clear, actionable roadmaps and target-state architectures.
- Define target and reference architectures, integration patterns, technical standards, and guardrails; ensure decisions are sustainable and enterprise-ready.
- Align AI program architectures to enterprise platforms and standards, reusing shared capabilities (agent, data, memory, security) and integrating with the platform spine.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to business/Digital and ELT sponsors; deliver measurable outcomes.
- Architect responsible AI/automation/engineering with governance, controls, and verification; improve speed, quality, and decision-making.
- Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to engineering and delivery teams.
- Set expectations for reliability, security, documentation, and operational excellence; ensure architectures are compliant, observable, and resilient.
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelorโs + 8 years, or Masterโs + 7 years, or PhD + 5+ years.
- Experience defining architecture and technology strategy for significant (ideally AI/data-intensive) programs/domains.
- Hands-on expertise in modern engineering, cloud, data/integration patterns, APIs, AI/ML services, security, and reliability.
- Experience advising/design authority through influence.
- Partnering with senior business/Digital stakeholders to shape technical direction and measurable outcomes.
Preferred:
- Degree in tech/engineering/related field.
- Experience in regulated global enterprises (compliance, privacy, security, risk).
- Experience architecting AI/agentic/automation solutions with platform reuse.
- Recognized depth in AI and modern architecture (agents, LLMs, data platforms, cloud, enterprise integration).
