Role Summary

Director, Retail Marketing—Lead the development and execution of retail channel marketing strategies to optimize GSK’s vaccine portfolio performance, focusing on retail decision makers and field/store level customers. Bridge marketing and sales to deliver on retail vision and drive vaccine availability and pull-through.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Build understanding of needs in collaboration with Retail Account Directors and Retail Channel Managers for retail customers and stakeholders
  • Own retailer performance tracking and narrative, identifying successes and opportunities
  • Build processes with Innovative Solutions to bridge retail performance and systems sales
  • Define and create content for utilization at account and field level engagements
  • Integrate narratives to guide retail interactions and drive engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: 8+ years of marketing experience, pharmacy product development or pharmacy operations experience
  • Required: 3+ years of people leadership
  • Required: Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies in complex environments
  • Required: Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Preferred: MBA or Pharm.D
  • Preferred: 4+ years of retail marketing, retail product development, retail operations, or retail field leadership experience
  • Preferred: Knowledge of vaccines, US market dynamics, and retail dynamics
  • Preferred: Brand management experience within vaccines
  • Preferred: Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to apply data to decision making
