Responsibilities
LVL Research Site Operations
- Supervise and coordinate site and laboratory operations for local teams.
- Partner with Facilities/Engineering to plan and execute capital projects and renovations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EHS, Quality, IT, HR) to support site initiatives and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance and safety via regular safety-focused GEMBA walk-throughs.
- Identify and implement process improvements with local scientists to optimize efficiency/productivity.
- Co-lead monthly meetings with updates to senior management.
- Manage site emergencies, incidents, and escalations with timely communication and resolution.
- Support implementation of new technologies, systems, and processes.
TDS Capital Operations
- Develop and maintain a multi-year lab master plan aligned to evolving scientific platforms and βlabs of the future.β
- Assess equipment/infrastructure for gaps, risks, and obsolescence.
- Prioritize/sequence capital investments and renovations based on demand and asset lifecycle.
- Translate research needs into integrated infrastructure roadmaps with partner teams.
- Establish standards for equipment lifecycle management, modernization, and technology adoption.
- Drive governance/planning and decision frameworks for space and equipment.
- Execute within approved budgets balancing cost discipline and long-term value.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred.
- ~10β12+ years in pharma/biotech operations, research, or infrastructure.
- Experience in site operations/facilities coordination/research support in a complex matrix.
- Proven capital planning/infrastructure strategy/large-scale equipment or renovation programs.
- Track record partnering with scientific leaders to deliver operational/infrastructure solutions.
- Plus: lab safety, regulatory requirements, quality systems.
- Proficient with AI-enabled tools and digital technologies for process/data-driven decision support.
- Plus: lab of the future/digital lab/automation; multi-site/enterprise planning; space planning/workplace strategy/scientific infrastructure design.
