Director, RA Global Regulatory Strategy

Role: Lead global regulatory strategy as Director Regulatory Affairs GRL II for AbbVie, overseeing regulatory approval and lifecycle management for assigned therapeutics. Responsibilities: develop and execute global regulatory strategies, lead the Global Regulatory Product Team (GRPT), coordinate with Labeling Regulatory Strategy Team (LRST) and Advanced Science Teams (AST), ensure compliance, anticipate risks, and prepare regulatory dossiers. Manage cross-functional collaborations, provide strategic regulatory guidance, and influence regulatory policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's in life sciences; 7+ years in regulatory affairs with drug development experience, including global strategy leadership, in complex, matrix environments. Preferred: 10+ years, experience in multiple major regions (e.g., EU, Japan), advanced degrees, certifications. High-Value: senior leadership in pharmaceutical regulatory strategy, experience across multiple regions, focus on immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, and lifecycle management of marketed products.
