Position Summary
The Director, Program Management is assigned to early and/or late development stage asset(s), partnering with the Global Program Lead to shape and deliver the Target Product Profile (TPP) and Integrated Development Strategy (IDP) for assigned asset(s) and indications, and to execute the IDP.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as key strategic partner/PM SME to the GPL, helping establish a high-performing PM team environment.
- Execute the IDP per asset indication; partner with sub-teams to ensure alignment to TPP/IDP and accountability.
- Lead matrixed PM team members to create/maintain integrated cross-functional timelines, including scenario planning for risk management, alternative strategies, and acceleration/cost-savings opportunities.
- Lead risk management (including timely escalation of high-probability/high-impact risks) and deliver the risk management plan and mitigations.
- Monitor budget/resource health for assigned assets/indications; advocate for resources required to deliver the IDP.
- Provide PM SME input at leadership/governance stage gates; support GPT objective processes and budget planning.
- May matrix-manage PM resources; support DD PM Portfolio Leads with asset/portfolio content.
- Lead cross-functional program strategy and act as change agent for DD PM ways of working.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA or Ph.D. desirable) in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, or related discipline; PMP certification desirable.
- 12+ years industry experience; at least 10 years in drug development program/project management (varied therapy areas ideal).
- Demonstrated experience across most phases of research/drug development, including global regulatory submissions (IND/CTA through NDA/BLA/MAA/JNDA; NDA China) and lifecycle management.
- Proven success leading complex programs in matrixed environments; strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage interdependencies across therapeutic areas/disease areas/functions/geographies.
- Expertise in PM methodologies/tools (planning & control, risk management, stakeholder management); ability to resolve critical technical/business problems and shape long-term enterprise-significant strategy.

Compensation (explicit ranges)
- Cambridge Crossing: $217,250–$263,258; Princeton, NJ: $193,980–$235,056.
