The Director, Product & Disease Training leads training assessment, strategy, budget, and execution for Oncology and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Product and Disease State knowledge for the US Customer Engagement organization. Ensures cross-functional input to align and deliver training curriculum. Leads a team of Product Trainers and collaborates with other training functions to ensure consistency across all customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities:
- Align training strategy with Oncology and SMA marketing positioning, strategic imperatives, and brand plans.
- Capture insights from customer-facing teams and infuse into training curriculum; partner with Customer Engagement Skills for New Hire and Ongoing Training.
- Participate in Oncology and SMA functional leadership teams.
- Develop training business plans for: Breast & Women’s Health (BWH), Non-Malignant Hematology (NMH), Theragnostic–Radioligand Therapy (RLT), and SMA (including Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy).
- Collaborate with training functions, stakeholders, external vendors, and BU teams to develop compliant training materials reflecting brand needs, market landscape, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Conduct needs analyses (customer feedback, field interactions, SMEs) and adjust strategy/curriculum.
- Ensure materials are approved and compliant; identify and execute sustainability opportunities using pre/post training metrics.
- Lead development of national and district meetings; ensure MAP/FUSE approvals.
- Design/refresh new hire product training (design, production, implementation, coordination, evaluation).
- Develop ongoing training, KPI tracking/reporting, and annual product certification for customer-facing associates.
- Lead and develop the Product Training team (hire, coach, performance management, budgets/headcount) and implement Be-Curious Training Rotations.

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred).
- 5 years Sales training experience required (pharma or other business acceptable).
- At least 2 years leading/coaching/developing direct reports.
- 2 years sales experience.
- Recent experience in AI-empowered instructional design.
- Brand strategy/tactics with strong clinical/therapeutic knowledge; strong sales acumen.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, facilitation, planning, and team-building skills.
- Ability to synthesize information and influence decisions.
- Proven leadership/management and executive presence; strong cross-functional collaboration.
- 5–10 years pharmaceutical experience preferred (not required).
