Director, Pricing & Contracting Operations

Role: Lead the pricing and contracting operations at Scholar Rock as a founding team member, reporting to the Head of Market Access Finance. Objectives include managing GTN reconciliation, developing analytics tools, overseeing contract performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance to support product launches. Responsibilities encompass GTN actuals-to-forecast reconciliation, BPO partner coordination, policy monitoring (IRA, CMS), price reference database maintenance, revenue leakage mitigation, rebate and chargeback processing, and collaboration with Finance/FP&A for accruals. The role also involves building pricing data analysis capabilities, supporting SOX controls, and mentoring analysts. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years in biotech/pharma market access with expertise in government and commercial pricing, contracting, and GTN analytics; advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL); and knowledge of US healthcare pricing (ASP, Best Price, Medicaid, Medicare, FSS/VA). Preferred qualifications include an MBA or CPA, experience supporting product launches, and managing third-party BPO partners. The position involves working in a fast-paced, build-oriented environment, with high visibility and direct influence on launch-stage biotech pricing strategies. Compensation is approximately $200,000-$260,000 annually.
